A few things I’ve been eyeing the past couple of weeks…

The sumptuous wool textiles from Holland & Sherry Interiors have me dreaming up a custom upholstery project. Imagine this swatch on a custom dining bench, or accent chair, what an art piece it would be! That paired with a bloc-style lamp with a whipstitch detail would bring such a nice visual range to a dining or living room.

I’ve also had my eye on this layered vest and blouse and would pair it with this gold mandala necklace. I tend to spend most of my time, energy, and money on interior-related things, but have loved taking the time to edit down my wardrobe and slowly curate pieces that can stand the test of time. I’ve found since the pandemic, many of the clothes I used to wear to the office don’t feel aligned with who I am now. The pace of life has completely shifted, with working remote, at home, full time. The things I would wear years ago, no longer work as they used to. Taking the time to pair down and slowly build back up a solid foundation of versatile pieces has been on my to-do list this month.

As summer comes to a close, I’ve been daydreaming of a weekend getaway with a pool in an overgrown garden. I would love to design an Airbnb investment property that has an outdoor living situation like this one at the Potter’s House Mallorca. The landscape design by Luciano Giubbile is just stunning.
