Meet Inness NY, a beautifully restored farmhouse, turned boutique hotel, situated on 220 acres in Accord, New York.
I just booked a two night stay here for our trip to New York in October and couldn’t be more excited to explore the property. The incredible attention to detail in terms of design and curated antiques throughout has completely captured my eye. I have been very inspired by the understated elegance of New York Farmhouse architecture as of late, and will be drawing some major inspiration from this place as I dream up a vacation rental of my own. I am in the process of collecting ideas and starting initial planning for designing an investment property that functions as an airbnb rental and have been playing around with the idea of buying property upstate. The whole intent behind our trip to New York is to explore both the city and upstate and see if it resonates as a place we’d like to potentially put some roots down for a few years.
We’ll be spending a few days in Brooklyn on the front end of our trip, then renting a car and driving to Hudson then through to Buffalo over the course of six days. I’ll share more about our itinerary as the trip draws closer. I cannot wait to share more of this beautiful space and experience it in person for a few days!
