May Updates

The past two months have been a whirlwind, to say the least. If you’ve been here for a while, you know I’ve been calling in a home for quite some time, and have been standing on the edge, building up the courage to fully dive into the first-time home-buying process. I have been working through so much internally, in terms of my own sense of deservingness and self-worth for this next chapter I’ve been moving towards. It’s funny how we support and believe in those we love, but oftentimes, don’t show ourselves the same support. I was hitting roadblock after roadblock trying to start the process of getting pre-approved and finding a realtor and took that as a sign to pause and turn inward.

I shifted my focus to what narrative was looping internally and found that I was operating entirely out of fear and a sense of lack. The more I got quiet, and looked inward, the message I received was clear—You are capable, you are competent, and you are worthy of the life you’ve been dreaming of. I truly needed to let go of my timeline around purchasing a home, and any expectations I had around the entire process. I also received the message that I need to stay open to divine timing and remember that if I leave space, the exact and perfect next step will present itself as long as I follow the small nudges that come from within. This may seem a little backward to pause on taking action toward buying a home, but for me, it provided the clarity I needed to really understand what I wanted and opened up the path forward in a way I never could have planned for myself.

I got the ping to reach out to my community on social media for recommendations for realtors, and within minutes received multiple resources and ended up having a conversation with a friend in a very similar spot, that totally expanded what I thought was possible. Incredible how when we start to tune in to our intuition and follow that quiet voice inside, how the path starts to become clear and energetically a sense of possibility begins to blossom.

So, as of now, I started the process of connecting with realtors and getting pre-approved, and am excited for the road ahead. I am reminding myself daily, to stay open to guidance, and let go of expectations. The process of slowing down and turning inward is directly linked to taking meaningful action towards my goals and this past month has shown me that in such potent ways. Stay tuned for more updates on my process of finding a home and the journey inward to connect with the next version of self that aligns with the life I am moving towards.
